Hardcore Computer to Demonstrate Total Liquid Submersion Computing Technologies at SolidWorks World 2011
Rochester, MN / San Antonio, TX (January 20. 2011) Hardcore Computer, Inc. today announced it will exhibit its Total Liquid Submersion technologies at SolidWorks World 2011, one of the world's largest annual 3D CAD events. SolidWorks World 2011 international user conference and exposition takes place January 23 through 26, 2011 at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio, TX.
From exhibit booth #544, Hardcore Computer will demonstrate its Detonator™ workstation and Liquid Submerged Server (LSS™ 200) to SolidWorks power-users and CAD company executives as they gather to learn about new processes and technologies.
Hardcore Computer’s Detonator™, which was designed from the ground up to be a dream machine for the demanding professional, is the ultimate workstation for applications including computer-aided design, medical imaging, digital content creation, engineering simulation and modeling, and real-time situational awareness.
LSS 200 is the first and only product of its kind in the industry. According to an independent study, LSS 200 can deliver up to an 80% reduction in data center cooling costs and reduces construction and on-going operating costs by up to 25%. LSS 200 is designed to operate in almost any environment and doesn’t require costly, sophisticated environmental control systems.
Both products employ Hardcore Computer’s patented total liquid submersion cooling technology, which eliminates heat, the greatest barrier of performance and reliability in electronics. Liquid submersion cooling allows for significantly better thermal management than air cooling allowing for optimal performance and improved reliability.
“In today’s competitive environment, designers and engineers demand sophisticated tools to help them make ideas reality, and for computing needs there’s none better than Detonator™ and LSS 200 for engineering workstations,” said Chad Attlesey, President, Co-Founder and CTO, Hardcore Computer. “Where the Detonator™ was created to be the ultimate workstation for professionals demanding maximum speed, power and versatility with rock-solid stability, LSS 200 is optimal for high performance computing in environments where space is at a premium. Both systems provide top end performance, reduce heat and noise in the work area and cost less to operate.”
Attlesey and VP of Sales, Gary Meckley, will be on hand at SolidWorks World 2011 to demonstrate Detonator and LSS 200.
